Footesteps Foundation introduces ‘The Mindful Reset’;

 

A Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) program designed for night-shift health and social care staff that offers guided relaxation sessions to help regulate your nervous system, improve mood, and support clearer decision-making during demanding shifts.

 

NSDR—Non-Sleep Deep Rest—is a systematic practice that includes breathing and relaxation techniques. It allows the body and mind to slow down and reset while the participant stays completely aware and awake. The Mindful Reset offers something uniquely tailored for night staff in a healthcare setting.

**The Mindful Reset offers mindfulness and NSDR practices to support wellbeing. These are not a substitute for medical or mental health care and may not be suitable for individuals experiencing severe depression, PTSD, unresolved trauma, or other acute conditions.
